Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This role ensures patient safety, proper imaging techniques, and adherence to radiation safety standards while delivering compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate CT equipment and ensure optimal image quality
• Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor for adverse reactions
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT (preferred or required)
• Active state licensure (if applicable)
• BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
