Weekend Requirements:
Every other weekend + 1 major holiday
Certification Requirements:
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required
• PALS (AHA) or ENPC – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• California RN License – Required
Experience:
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Strong EPIC EMR experience (must be on resume)
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced ER setting
• Strong critical thinking and patient management skills
Specialized in:
• Emergency & Trauma Care (Level II)
• Triage & Rapid Patient Assessment
• STEMI, Stroke, Trauma, and Critical Care Cases
• IV Starts, Blood Draws, EKGs
• Medication Administration & Emergency Drips
• Patient Monitoring & Stabilization
Additional Details:
• Unit: Emergency Department (ER)
• Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Daily Census: 190–200 patients
• EMR: EPIC
• Medication System: Pyxis
• Floating: Not required
