- Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse (2 years)
Description
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM( 48 hours/week)
- Unit: Level 3 NICU
- Level of Care:
- Feeding/grower babies
- Critically ill neonates (vents, narcotics)
- Attend all C-sections
- High-risk deliveries (with fetal/maternal team)
- Premature births
- Beds: 15
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Scrub Color: Ciel Blue
- Common Diagnoses:
- Respiratory distress syndrome
- Prematurity
- Support Staff:
- 2 RRTs per shift
- Equipment:
- EKG monitors
- SpO2 monitors
- IV pumps
- Floating:
- May float to Mother/Baby or Nursery
- Nursery/L&D floating required if needed
- MB floating not required
- Candidate Requirements:
- Preferred: 3 years experience (2 years considered)
- Level 3 NICU experience preferred
- STABLE certification preferred
First-time travelers accepted
