Description
FULL SOCIAL AND DOB REQUIRED FOR SUBMISSION
• Weekend Hours: every other weekend
• Call Requirements: none
• Required Certifications: NC or compact license, Basic Life Support
• Years of Experience: at least 2
• Float Requirements: as needed, float to surgical, neuro, intermediate (will take med surg level patients)
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 18
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, Kangaroo feeding pumps, PCA pumps
• EHR: Cerner
• Supervisor: • Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Adult/geriatric medical surgical
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Cerner experience, IV competency
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: charge experience
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, diabetic complications, wound care, pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis, end of life care/hospice, falls, weakness, sepsis, infection
• Personality Fit: look for team players, strong patient advocates, busy floor-need to keep up
• Required Education: Associate or bachelors in nursing
