Job Breakdown: Emergency Department RN

Core Contract Details

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (3x12s). No block scheduling available.
• Location Policy: Locals within 50 miles are accepted but receive a lesser rate 

Clinical Requirements

• Unit: Emergency Department (Acute Care experience required).
• Experience: 1+ year in specialty.
• Travel Experience: Mandatory; first-time travelers are not eligible.
• Certifications: Current AHA BLS & ACLS.
• Licensure: Active Massachusetts RN license (NURSYS report must show all past/present licenses and be pulled within the last 7 days).
• EMR: EPIC experience is preferred.

Submission Checklist

• Resume: Must be up-to-date and document specific travel history.
• References: 2 recent Manager or Supervisor references from the ED.
• Skills Checklist: Completed for the ED specialty.
• Identification: Driver’s license address must match submission demographics.
• Medical: Flu vaccine (if within season).
• RTO: All Requested Time Off must be included at the time of submission; it will not be approved post-confirmation.

Unit Expectations

• Holiday Rotation: Must work every other major holiday.
• Attire: Scrub color is unrestricted ("Any").
