Job Title: Travel Multispecialty Ultrasound Tech – General, Vascular & Echo
Specialty: Ultrasound Tech – Vascular / Multispecialty
Location: Plainview, TX 79072
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day – 4x10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Multispecialty Ultrasound Tech with proven competency in General, OB/GYN, Vascular, AND Adult Echocardiography. This is NOT a single-modality role. You must be comfortable switching between bedside general, high-risk OB, vascular duplex, and stress/contrast echo in the same shift.
Required Certifications (Must Have)
- ARDMS (General)
- ARDMS RVT (Vascular)
- CCI or RDCS (Echo)
- BLS
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience – but must include ALL of the following:
OB/GYN
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester
- Amniotic fluid index (AFI)
- Fetal Anatomical Survey
- Placenta Previa
- Transvaginal
- Uterus / Ovaries
General Ultrasound
- Abdominal Aorta, Liver, Gallbladder, Pancreas, Spleen, Appendix
- Biliary Tract
- Breast
- Small Parts (Thyroid, Scrotum, Superficial Masses)
- Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis
Vascular
- Carotid, Aorta
- Upper/Lower Extremity Arterial & Venous
- Renal Artery Duplex
- Color Flow, Doppler, Duplex, M-Mode
Echocardiography (Critical)
- Adult Echo
- Contrast Echo
- Echo Stress – Treadmill
Procedures
- Paracentesis
- Ultrasound-guided Biopsy / FNA
Work Settings
- Adult, ED, High Risk OB, ICU, Pediatrics, Portables
Equipment
- GE, PACS, Epic (required)
Schedule & On-Call Requirements
- On-Call Required: YES
- Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Saturday & Sunday: 24 hours
- Weekends Required: Yes (on-call)
- Expected Patient Ratio: 8 patients / 1 tech
- Float between units: No
