Risk & Patient Safety Manager Rn

Shift Information: days M-F

100-mile RADIUS RULE. We will not accept a traveler who has a permanent address within 100 miles of our hospital

EXP:  At least 5 years of experience in healthcare OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Has a working knowledge of current hospital concepts in risk management, patient safety, performance improvement and regulatory requirements. Experience in preparing and maintaining records and writing reports.

EMR: EPIC

CERTS/REQUIREMENTS:  Current, active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wyoming. A Wyoming-licensed Registered Nurse is required. Minimum education of BSN required. LEAN, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, or Patient Safety training preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree or higher preferred

Required Certifications:  Certification as a Professional in Health Care Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred. If not currently CPHRM certified, the candidate must obtain certification within one (1) year of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Training or experience in LEAN methodologies, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, and Patient Safety
