Description

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or qualified behavioral health clinician for a high-acuity Adult & Pediatric Emergency Department setting.

This role focuses on behavioral health crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, care coordination, and emergency psychiatric support in a fast-paced hospital environment.

📋 Job Details

Start Date: June 8, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: DAYS
Schedule: 4x10s
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday evenings)

🩺 Core Responsibilities

Conduct behavioral health crisis assessments for adult and pediatric patients
Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations
Coordinate discharge planning and community resource referrals
Assist with:
- Emergency detention processes
- Guardianship & protective services
- Substance abuse treatment referrals
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and care conferences
Support patients and families with counseling and crisis intervention services

🧠 Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience in behavioral health / crisis intervention
Experience conducting mental health risk assessments for adults & pediatrics
Hospital experience preferred
Strong crisis communication and de-escalation skills

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

May float to Holy Family Hospital if overstaffed
Same scope and responsibilities maintained while floating
