Endoscopy/GI Tech – Contract | Glenwood Springs, CO
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy/GI Tech for a 13-week contract assignment. The tech will assist physicians and nursing staff during advanced GI/endoscopy procedures including polypectomies, biopsies, ERCPs, dilations, and screening exams. Responsibilities also include endoscope reprocessing/disinfection, procedure room setup, equipment troubleshooting, patient transport, stocking supplies, and assisting with patient prep and recovery support.
Schedule:
- 4x10-hour day shifts per week
- Rotating call required
- 40 guaranteed hours/week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy/GI Tech experience
- Advanced case Endoscopy experience required
- Active Colorado DORA Surgical Tech registration required
- AHA BLS certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
- SGNA Associate or Advanced Associate Program
- IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER)
Additional Details:
- 13-week travel contract
- Holiday coverage required
- EMR: Meditech
- Traveler must live 75+ miles from facility
