Description

RN – Labor & Delivery | Nashville, TN
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Location: 2300 Patterson St, Nashville, TN 37203

Job Responsibilities:

Provide care for laboring patients throughout all stages of labor, including fetal monitoring and maternal assessments
Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and epidural procedures
Recover and monitor post-cesarean patients and provide immediate newborn care after delivery
Collaborate with physicians, OR techs, and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in CPN and Meditech systems
Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements

Required Skills:

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
Strong experience with laboring patients and newborn stabilization after delivery
Experience circulating cesarean sections and post-op recovery
Fetal monitoring and labor assessment skills
Ability to work night shifts and required call/weekend schedule
Travelers float first policy
