Requirements:Minimum Qualifications & RequirementsUnrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start dateBasic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP)At least 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with a diverse patient population.Preferred QualificationsExperience with high risk deliveries and neonates preferred.NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Experience with EPIC preferred.Bilingual in Spanish preferred.Position Overview:The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) works with patients that range from newborn to geriatric to perform all cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and deliver all modalities of respiratory care from basic to advanced. Provides the highest level of appropriate patient care for patients in all areas of the hospital to include emergency patients, in-patients and out-patients.Housing: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. It s extremely expensive, especially in the winter. Please consider housing options in the surrounding towns: Basalt, Carbondale, & Glenwood Springs. $3,500/month is common for a 1BR apartment in Basalt. Travelers looking for a housing budget less than this should probably not be submitted.Misc: Not accepting any RTO Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation)
