Position Details
- Specialty: Urology Clinic RN
- Start Date: ASAP
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals and true travelers accepted
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Strong urology experience required
- Candidate must have highly rated catheter skills
- Must score highly on urology skills checklist
Required Clinical Skills
Candidates must be comfortable performing:
- Repeated daily catheterization for both male and female patients
- Suprapubic catheter changes
Patient Population / Diagnoses
Experience with the following diagnoses preferred:
- Prostate cancer
- Bladder cancer
- Kidney cancer
- Testicular cancer
- Penile cancer
- Incontinence
- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
- Erectile dysfunction
- Renal calculus
- Voiding dysfunction
- Overactive bladder
- Urinary retention
- Male UTI
- Circumcision
- Undescended testicles
Required Licensure & Certifications
- Oregon RN License in hand required — HARD STOP
- Pending Oregon license not accepted
- BLS required
Preferred Certifications
- ONC certification preferred but not required
