Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Duration: 13 Weeks

Start: June 8th 2026 – Aug 5th 2026
Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 5x8s (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Call Requirement: Weekend call coverage (variable based on department needs; no additional call pay as this is a 24/7 responsibility)

Travel Pay: $4550 weekly gross

 

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active RN license (Massachusetts)
  • BLS & ACLS (Healthcare Provider) required
  • NRP required
  • Inpatient OB certification (preferred)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee 24/7 operations of Labor & Delivery and Perinatal Education units
  • Ensure appropriate staffing, skill mix, and resource allocation
  • Manage schedules, staffing plans, and timecards
  • Lead daily shift huddles to align care priorities
  • Serve as Charge Nurse during clinical shifts
  • Support quality patient care and adherence to best practices

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of obstetrical nursing experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Knowledge of current trends in nursing and patient care
  • Prior supervisory experience (preferred)
