CT Technologist – Cardiac CT | Travel Assignment | Palo Alto, CA

A leading outpatient imaging center within Sutter Health Palo Alto Medical Foundation (Encina) is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment specializing in cardiac and vascular CT imaging.

This role offers a high-volume, advanced diagnostic environment focused on coronary CTA and structural cardiac imaging, working with state-of-the-art GE CT equipment in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized CT procedures, with emphasis on cardiac and vascular imaging
• Execute Coronary CTA, calcium scoring, vascular CTA, and structural CT studies
• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient safety compliance
• Provide patient-centered care with strong communication and professionalism
• Maintain adherence to radiation safety and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• ARRT (CT) or ARRT (R) required
• Active California Radiation License
• Active California Fluoroscopy License
• BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required
• Experience with:
  • Coronary CTA
  • Calcium scoring
  • Structural cardiac CT

Preferred Skills

• Epic charting experience
• Experience in outpatient or high-volume imaging environments
• Strong IV/venipuncture and contrast administration skills
• Experience with GE CT systems
