40 hours variable.

 

Beds: 2 Cath labs, 2 Hybrid peripheral/ORWill you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No.Will not accept IR only experienceWill you accept a first-time traveler? NoTravelers must live 100 miles away from facilityPermanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a travelerPatient Types:Discussed during interviewThis traveler will be a member of the Stroke Team ICU experience is requiredPatient Ratios:RN: 1:1Required Certifications:RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSSTech: BLS, ARRTRequired Education:RN: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of NursingSkills required:RN: ICU Experience is a MUST this position will be a member of the Neuro IR Stroke TeamEndotracheal ventilation (including basic management and understanding of ventilators)Tracheostomy patients (including ventilation through stoma)Vasoactive and sedation dripsSafe use of paralyticsSet up, troubleshooting, and use of arterial linesExternal Ventricular Drains (including Camino ICP monitoring)External PacemakersChest TubesSwan/Cordis central line catheter use and monitoringRecovery and monitoring of arterial puncture sitesSupport on the Unit:CNA (Ratio): N/ACharge nurse: M-F, 0600-1630

Very responsive, follows up. I have had to deal with compliance, HR questions etc and if the person I spoke with did not know the answer they sent it to whoever they thought could answer my questions and my questions or concerns were followed up on! This has been my first travel contract but I can’t say anything bad thus far!!! I definitely would recommend this company
