Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

• Radiology Unit specifics:

  • 3 CT scanners (GE 512, GE 128, GE 32 slice)
  • Average 180 CT exams per day
  • Staffing: 2 techs per scanner during the day, 3 techs overnight
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Patient focus: Emergency Department (ED) and Inpatient (IP) only, compassionate care model
• Myrtle Beach offers a desirable coastal location with over 60 miles of shoreline and an average of 215 sunny days per year

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT exams for ED and IP patients, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CT angiography (CTA)
• Operate GE CT equipment independently
• Provide compassionate care in a trauma setting

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT Radiography certification
• BLS certification
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
