THIS IS A TELE POSITION, REQUIRING TELE SKILLS - PLEASE READ BELOW*****Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.**Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts). **There is also a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.)# of bedsCRMC 60 ED Beds, MGMC 31 ED BedsRatios1 to 4Required certificationsBLS, ACLSCommon diagnoses/Types of patientsED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/TeleExperience MUST HAVE a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical. (MS/Tele travlers DO NOT need prior travel experienceAre RNs required to titrate dripsYesCommon titratable &/or set rate dripsCardizem, Heparin, AmiodaroneCharge Nurse/House SupervisorED charge nurse.
