Description
PAY:
Hourly Pay: $32.5/hr on W2
Housing Stipend: $700 weekly
Meals: $546 weekly
Weekly Gross: $2,416 weekly for 36 hours
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN-Emergency Department
Location - 1401 East State Street, Rockford, IL 61104
Full Time - 13 weeks contract
Shift - 12 hours day and evening // 36 hours
Weekend Requirement - every other weekend, and they will have a holiday rotation
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide rapid assessment, triage, and emergency care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions
Initiate emergency interventions, including resuscitation, airway management, and stabilization of critical patients
Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed
Assist with trauma activations, medical emergencies, and critical care procedures
Perform wound care, splinting, and other emergency nursing interventions
Collaborate with physicians, EMS personnel, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient care
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Respond effectively to Code Blue, stroke alerts, cardiac emergencies, and other urgent situations
Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and emergency department protocols
Prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
REQUIREMENT:
Min 2 years RN ED experience in a large busy hospital - Required
BLS, ACLS, IL RN License - Required
