Job Title

Nursing Director - Inpatient Care

Contract | Days | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide ongoing leadership and operational oversight of medical/surgical units and the ICU
Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care to patients and families
Apply sound human resource and financial management principles to guide nursing services
Support comprehensive patient and family services through active participation with the interdisciplinary team
Collaborate with physicians on the implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and regulations to facilitate optimal nursing care
Assume 24-hour responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care activities and service operations

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Maine or Compact licensure in good standing with the Board of Nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills Master's degree in Nursing preferred Specialty and/or leadership certification preferred
