Description
Key Requirements
Location
- Must live within 100 miles of the facility.
Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM–5:30 PM).
- On-call: 1–2 nights per week.
- Weekend rotation with call and PRN coverage.
Required Credentials
- Current RCS, RCIS, RCDS, or ARDMS certification.
- RDCS or RCVT required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ARRT certification required.
- Current state/district license required.
Education
- Associate's degree (or equivalent).
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Experience in:
- Basic and advanced cardiac imaging procedures.
- Echocardiology ultrasound systems and transducers.
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
- Arterial and vascular ultrasound studies.
- Pediatric experience is highly desirable.
Job Duties
- Perform routine and advanced cardiac imaging studies.
- Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Perform studies in multiple settings:
- Imaging lab
- Bedside
- ICU
- Emergency Department
- Operating Room
- Care for patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric.
- Complete associated clerical/documentation duties.
