Description

Job Description-

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care to adult, geriatric, medical, and psychiatric patients within the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or Registered Nurse, the LPN administers medications, monitors patient conditions, documents care, assists with treatments, and supports the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care and patient support.Administer and document
  • Medications and treatments.Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.Follow VA policies, infection control, and safety standards.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
  • Current, unrestricted LPN license.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Schedule

Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Evening Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Extended Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Night Shift: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
