Description
Position: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Shift: 10 hours shift - Days and Nights both available
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Atlanta, GA
Note: 12 hours shift (3x12) is available as well.
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic CT imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role ensures patient safety, accurate imaging, and adherence to established protocols while collaborating closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to support timely and precise diagnoses.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure optimal image quality and comfort
- Operate CT imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Administer contrast media as required, following safety guidelines and monitoring for adverse reactions
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of imaging procedures and patient records
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards, infection control practices, and departmental policies
- Assist with equipment quality control, routine maintenance, and room preparation
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflow and patient throughput
- Provide professional, patient-centered care in a high-volume imaging environment
Requirements & Experience
- 2 yesrds of Prior experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical imaging setting.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, anatomy, and radiation safety
- Ability to manage multiple exams efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable working evening shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment
