Description
General Information
o ORs: 4 Rooms; approx. 20-25 cases per day (Monday-Friday)
o Endoscopy Suites: 2; approx. 12-15 cases per day (Monday-Friday)
o Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
Ortho –
● Arthroscopy – shoulders and knees primarily (occasionally hips)
● Podiatry
▪ General/Urology Gynecology/ENT –
● General: hernia repair, appendectomies, laparoscopies
● Urology Gynecology: bladder stimulator, mesh slings
● ENT: Tonsils & Adenoid removal, Sia endoscopy, tubes in ears
▪ Endoscopy –
● EGD/Colonoscopies, Sigmoidoscopy, Bravo Procedures
● no pill cams
▪ Interventional Pain Management -
● Epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations, cervical lumbar injections
▪ Eyes –
● Cataract surgery
▪ No plastics
● Patient Ratios:
o pre-op - 1:1
o PACU/Phase I - 1:1
o Phase II- 3:1
● Required Certifications:
o RN:
▪ OR RN – BLS, ACLS, PALS
