Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Required Qualifications

Certification:
- NMTCB (CNMT) or
- ARRT(N) (Nuclear Medicine certification)
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
Must be a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Minimum 2 years of experience in the field

Key Responsibilities

Perform in vivo nuclear medicine imaging procedures
Administer radiopharmaceuticals as ordered by physicians (under radiologist supervision)
Ensure radiation safety and compliance with NRC regulations
Perform quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) on equipment and imaging
Maintain accurate records in:
- Hospital Information System (HIS)
- PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
