Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Certification:
- NMTCB (CNMT) or
- ARRT(N) (Nuclear Medicine certification)
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Must be a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the field
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in vivo nuclear medicine imaging procedures
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals as ordered by physicians (under radiologist supervision)
- Ensure radiation safety and compliance with NRC regulations
- Perform quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) on equipment and imaging
- Maintain accurate records in:
- Hospital Information System (HIS)
- PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
