Overview

 

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a highly respected, large regional medical center in Western Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established, high-acuity hospital setting that is known for its strong clinical programs, collaborative teams, and commitment to exceptional patient care.

This facility serves as a major healthcare hub for the region, offering exposure to a diverse patient population and advanced respiratory cases in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

 

Schedule & Contract Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (strong likelihood of extension)
  • Shift: Days
  • Schedule: 3x12s
  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Weekly Hours: 36

Patient Population

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including:

  • Adult and geriatric populations
  • Patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
  • Critical care and step-down patients
  • Individuals requiring ventilator management and respiratory interventions

This is a great fit for clinicians looking to expand experience in a high-volume, multidisciplinary hospital setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory therapies and treatments
  • Monitor and manage ventilators and airway support
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams
  • Assess patient respiratory status and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

  • ✅ Active RRT Certification
  • Massachusetts Respiratory License (active)
  • BLS Certification (can be obtained during onboarding if needed)
  • ✅ Minimum relevant clinical experience preferred

  • Updated resume (gaps explained if applicable)
  • RT Certification
  • Skills checklist (within the past year)
  • 2 professional references
  • Completed cover page

Travel Requirement:

  • Candidates must live 90+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
