Job Details

- Technologist - MRI Technologist at Temple University Hospital (Philadelphia, PA)

- Performs MRI studies following the set protocol established by the Radiologists.

- Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.

- Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate.

- Positions patient, coils, and equipment as required.

- Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.

- American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from the date of hire.

- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

- Non-Degree Program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. Required

- Experience 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required

- 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist Preferred

- Licenses Reg Technologist (R) Required

- Basic Life Support Preferred

- Reg Technologist (R) (MR) Preferred
