Description
Position: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Days)
Shift: Nights | 7 On / 7 Off Schedule
Schedule
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s)
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM (4x10s)
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) Certification Required
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years CT experience
- Previous travel experience required
- EPIC experience required
- GE scanner experience required
- ED, Inpatient, and Outpatient CT experience required
- First-time travelers not accepted
Floating
- Must float between:
- Emergency Department
- Inpatient
- Outpatient
- Clinics within walking distance of the main campus
Equipment & Charting
- Charting: EPIC
- Equipment: GE Scanners
Patient Population
- Neonates
- Pediatrics
- Adolescents
- Adults
- Geriatrics
Important Notes
- Must apply for Louisiana Allied Health Licensure within 72 hours of signing if pending
- Must be more than 65 miles from the facility
- Holiday work required if scheduled
- No local travelers accepted
- RTO must be disclosed at submission and interview
Emergency Team Requirement
Ochsner Health may assign travelers to an emergency response team during severe weather or emergency events. Staff may be required to remain at the facility or serve as relief staff until the event has passed.
