Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Float position primarily on Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a required willingness to float to a sister facility (~25 minutes away) with lower acuity patients.
Unit patient populations include Infectious Disease, Hospice/Palliative Care, Oncology, Cardiac Acute/Med Care, Post-Surgical, Bariatric, Urology, Neurology, and Orthopedics.
Patient ratio experience required: 1:6.
No first-time travelers or local hires accepted for this assignment.
Weekend coverage required every other weekend, with 12 weekend shifts per contract.

Valid RN license in Arizona.
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
Minimum 1.5 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
One completed travel nursing assignment.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Experience with a 1:6 patient assignment ratio.
