Schedule & Requirements
- Position: Cardiovascular Operating Room RN (CVOR RN)
- Shift: 13-Hour Days
- Hours: 6:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Required Experience
✔ 3–5 Years Recent CVOR RN Experience
✔ Strong Scrub Experience
✔ Strong Circulating Experience
✔ Experience in Complex Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Cases
Required Surgical Case Experience
Candidates must be experienced in scrubbing and circulating for:
✔ Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABG) – Primary & Redo
✔ Aortic Aneurysm Repairs
✔ Aortic Valve Replacements (AVR) – Primary & Redo
✔ Mitral Valve Replacements (MVR) – Primary & Redo
✔ TAVR Procedures
✔ ECMO Cases
✔ Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) – Adult Required
✔ Thoracic Procedures
✔ Complex Vascular Procedures
Pediatric VAD Experience: Preferred but not required
Required Certifications
✔ BLS (AHA Only)
Preferred Certifications
✔ CNOR
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Primarily function in the scrub role
- Support cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
- Maintain sterile field and surgical workflow
- Assist with ECMO, VAD, TAVR, CABG, and valve procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesia, and OR staff
- Document care in Epic
- Participate in call rotation and holiday coverage
