Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients.
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and report abnormalities.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as ordered.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac status, and overall patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
Float to similar units as needed.

Requirements

Active Massachusetts RN License.
Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
Recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
Previous travel nursing experience required.
Ability to pass the telemetry exam during orientation.
Meditech experience preferred.
Availability for 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).
Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Locals are also accepted.
