Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Care
Facility: MedStar Health Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Start Dates: July 13 or July 20
Schedule
- Shift: 5x8s
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Work Locations
- Initial training will take place at the Lafayette and Washington Hospital Center (WHC) locations.
- After training, the RN will work:
- 2 days per week at Leisure World
- 2–3 days per week at Lafayette
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BSN required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
- Ability to work independently
Required Skills
- Catheter insertion and removal
- Telephone triage
- Ambulatory/outpatient nursing experience
Preferred Experience
- Women's Health and/or Pelvic Floor Urogynecology
- Procedure assistance
- Urodynamics
- PTNS (Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation)
Additional Information
- Ambulatory/outpatient experience is required.
- Charting system: Cerner

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
