Description
Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a large, high-acuity Emergency Department. This facility is both Stroke and STEMI Certified and provides care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Options
- 36 Hours/Week or 48 Hours/Week Available
- Every Other Weekend Required
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required (Hard Stop)
- At least 2–3 completed ER travel assignments
- Epic charting experience required (Hard Stop)
- Experience with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
Preferred Certifications
- TNCC
- SANE
Unit Information
- Large, high-volume Emergency Department
- 74-bed Emergency Department
- Daily Census: 165–175 patients
- Patient Ratio: 1:4 (Days, Nights, and Weekends)
- Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
- Stroke Certified Facility
- STEMI Certified Facility
