Emergency Center Registered Nurse

48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
TNCC
5+ years of experience
At least 1 prior travel assignment
Larger hospital experience
Meditech experience

Preferred Qualifications

CPI
ASLS

Work Setting

Emergency department with approximately 180–200 visits per day
Peds through geriatrics
Trauma, neuro, ortho, and CVA patient mix
Behavioral lock-down area with psych support
Dedicated respiratory therapy support available 24/7

Schedule Expectations

Every other weekend
Every other holiday

Additional Details

1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Nurses perform their own lab draws and IV starts
2-shift floor-specific orientation
Caribbean blue scrubs only
Callout process must be followed
Orientation must be completed during week one unless approved beforehand
