Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract

Location: Elmhurst, IL
Contract Length: 10 Weeks (High likelihood of extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Charting System: EPIC

Position Overview

Amergis Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a full-time travel contract at Elmhurst Hospital. This role requires strong Cath Lab experience with EP exposure and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging and monitoring equipment
Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and sterile technique
Accurately document procedures using EPIC
Respond to emergency and scheduled on-call cases as required

Schedule & On-Call Requirements

4 ten-hour shifts per week
On-call:
- 2–3 days per week
- Every third weekend
- 2-hour minimum guaranteed when called in

Requirements

3+ years of Cath Lab Technologist experience with EP experience
ARRT certification
BLS & ACLS (current)
IEMA Certification (required)
Ability to start ASAP
Flexibility with schedule and on-call
