Position Details

• Position: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
• Facility: Merrimack Health Lawrence Hospital
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 Hours/Week

• EMR: Meditech Expanse (preferred, not required)

   

Schedule & Requirements

• 48-hour weekly guarantee commitment required
• Local candidates accepted (local rate applies for candidates within 50 miles)
• RTO must be submitted with profile
• Travel experience required
• Permanent Massachusetts RN license required at submission
• Pediatric patients are included in assignment and traveler must be comfortable caring for them

Required Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Pediatric emergency care experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience preferred

Required Certifications

• Massachusetts RN License (active at submission)
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care
• Manage trauma and critical care situations
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document patient care accurately in EMR
• Maintain patient safety and quality standards in a high-volume ED environment
