Job Overview
- Facility: Dayton Children's Hospital - South Campus
- Location: Miamisburg, OH (3333 W Tech Rd)
- Position: Pediatric CT Technologist
- Contract Duration: 8 weeks (Note: Shift detail section notes 13 weeks; position overview notes an 8-week contract duration).
- Target Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Guaranteed)
- Shift: Nights | 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:30)
Job Description & Unit Details
Join a dedicated pediatric care setting at Dayton Children's South Campus. This role requires an imaging professional comfortable with pediatric workflows, specialized patient handling, and consistent night shift coverage.
- Setting: Pediatric Hospital (South Campus)
- Campus Policy: Strictly Smoke-Free facility and campus grounds.
- Dress Code: Grape/Purple scrub tops. Black scrub pants are permitted with a purple top.
Requirements
Experience & Clinical Skills
- Pediatric Experience: Strictly Required. Must have documented experience handling pediatric populations.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED AND an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences are required.
Licensure & Certifications
- State License: Must have a permanent Ohio state license in hand at the time of submission (Compact or temporary licenses pending are not accepted under Qualivis tier rules here).
- Certifications: ARRT (CT) in Radiography and active CPR/BLS are required.
Crucial Submission Rules
- Qualivis Compliance: A fully completed and filled-out Standard Qualivis Coversheet must be included with the submittal packet.
- Requested Time Off (RTO): All RTO requests must be explicitly listed at the time of submission to be discussed during the interview.
- References: At least one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the CT specialty is required.
- Background Check: Background hits of any kind are subject to immediate facility review.
- Local Policy: Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate.
- Rehire Policy: Return staff must wait a minimum of 1 full year before returning to the system as a traveler.
