BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, and recent EPIC experience are all required.
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent: Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred
- One year in acute care experience: Required
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN license in state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular?Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS OR HS-PALS OR RQIPALS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): Required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: Required
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
