Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Skilled Nursing Facility

Sarasota Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. Join a collaborative rehabilitation team dedicated to helping adult and geriatric patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive Skilled Nursing Facility environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for therapists who enjoy building meaningful patient relationships while working with an experienced interdisciplinary team focused on exceptional rehabilitation outcomes.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments
Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's functional goals
Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, and medically complex conditions
Provide gait training, balance training, therapeutic exercise, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case managers
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies
Complete timely documentation and progress reporting
