Position: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Travel Nurse – RN
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week (subject to confirmation)
Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and support patients throughout labor
Track contractions and assist with breathing techniques
Perform cervical checks to assess labor progression
Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including managing bodily fluids
Assist physicians during delivery (preparing drapes, instruments, gowns, etc.)
Provide immediate care for newborns

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting (20–50 lbs as needed)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience
ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications (AHA required)
Additional certifications may be required prior to start

Additional Info:
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipends to be determined.
