Description
Physical Therapist (PT) – Rehab Therapy
Location: Arlington, VA
Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM (Monday -Friday)
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to determine functional limitations and rehabilitation needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans of care
- Provide direct physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and safety
- Document all evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary rehab teams
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehab Technicians as appropriate
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical findings
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
- Active Physical Therapist license in the applicable state (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or post-acute care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
