Job Title: CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Location: Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, Ohio
Facility: Summa Health – CAT Scan Department (1300 75211)
Contract Duration: July 26, 2026 – October 24, 2026 (13 Weeks)
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Block Schedule)
Job Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging team at Summa Health – Wadsworth/Rittman Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled imaging professional with strong CT and Radiology experience who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care while working in a collaborative hospital environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of CT/Radiology experience, possess excellent technical skills, and be comfortable performing diagnostic CT scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality Computed Tomography (CT) examinations following physician orders and department protocols.
  • Operate CT and Radiologic imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Evaluate image quality with the Radiologist and obtain additional images when necessary.
  • Properly position patients and administer contrast media as required.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
  • Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
  • Assist physicians during invasive radiologic procedures when needed.
  • Follow radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
  • Perform CPR and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational concerns.
  • Collaborate effectively with Radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to deliver exceptional patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Active Ohio Radiographer License required.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of Radiology/CT Technologist experience required.

Certifications

  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS (AHA) Certification
  • Ability to obtain CT Registry within one year of hire (if not already registered).
