Description
High School Diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Details of Assignment: Order Description SHIFT TIMES: Varied/Rotating/Overnight | Schedule may change due to needs of the department to 3x12s or 4x10s. Will be discussed in interview. Must be open to Weekends WORSITE: 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA Performs routine imaging examinations in CT on a scheduled and emergency basis following departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations.Performs routine imaging examinations in CT on a scheduled and emergency basis.Reviews and evaluates requisitions for CT imaging procedures, abstracting data from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed given diagnosis and clinical signs for CT examinations.Identify patients according to Hospital Policy with 2 identifiers.Proficient in IV placement.Proficient in all Radiology applications; Citrix, Radnet, powerchart, Allocade, Radstar, Radboard and commonly used computer programs. Will be expected to assist with Xray as needed. Required 1 year Pediatric Experience Required Rad Tech Massachusetts State License American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) (CT) (R) BLS
