Description

Unit Details

Acute care Emergency Department providing triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages.
Position serves as an EPIC conversion backfill.

Requirements & EMR Qualifications

Must have both EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years.
Experience must be proven via employment or a successfully completed contract.
Work history must explicitly list the charting system used for each entry (including dates if multiple EMRs are listed under one job).
Must be comfortable delegating care to ancillary staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
This position is represented by the California Nurses Association (CNA).

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice.
Minimum 2 years of acute care ER experience.
BSN is preferred.

Required Certifications

AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
AHA PALS (Required at time of hire)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
