Description
Join one of South Carolina's premier academic medical centers as a Travel OR RN! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced circulating OR nurse looking to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment with advanced technology, including robotic surgery.
Position Details
- Shift: 3x12-hour Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- On-Call: Required
- Approximately 5–8 call shifts per month
- Includes weekend call
- Holiday call may be required
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per pay period
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN License (or Multistate License) in hand by contract start
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Must be able to circulate General OR cases
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
- Experience with Epic charting
Highly Preferred Experience
Experience circulating cases including:
- Plastics
- Colorectal
- Urology
- Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS)
- Pancreatic/Biliary
- Surgical Oncology
- Robotic Surgery (5 robotic systems)
Scrub experience is preferred but not required.
