Description
nit Specifics:
• Number of Beds : 9 labor rooms, 6 triage rooms, 3 AP rooms, 3 ORs
• Patient Ratios : 1:1-2 laboring, 1:2-3 AP, 1:1 c/s and PACU
• Unit staffing description- OB tech always in staffing for scrubbing c/s and assisting with vaginal deliveries, 1 dedicated charge nurse to assist with triage and transport (baby nurse), 1 unit secretary 0700-2300
• Type of equipment :
• Documentation system: Meditech and Centricity
• Scheduling requirements: 3 shifts/week, if working during the winter holidays must work 1-2 days or eves
• Floating policy: possible to float to Mother Baby but not frequently. Will not float to any other department
