First Connect Health is seeking a highly skilled Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate, extended travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. This facility is ranked Wisconsin’s #1 hospital and is a celebrated national teaching institution and Level 1 Trauma Center. This specific contract is housed within the specialized Tier 5 Surgical Team, covering advanced Gynecology, Urology, and Transplant care lines. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $2,642.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,526.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $31.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $43.50/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12-Hours (06:40 AM - 19:10 PM). Potential for one mid-day shift rotation (09:40 AM - 22:10 PM) once biweekly.
- Contract Length: Flexible options spanning 17 to 21 weeks total.
- Start Dates Available: Target options available for 07/27, 08/03, or 08/10/2026.
- On-Call & On-Unit Requirements: Weekday call coverage and a routine unit weekend rotation schedule are required.
- Clinical Scope (Tier 5): Kidney and pancreas transplants, DaVinci Xi robotic surgery, percutaneous nephrectomy, robotic nephrectomy, HOLEP, cystectomy, neobladder setups, ureteroscopy, laparoscopic gynecology, procurements, and abdominal hysterectomies.
- Support & Ratios: Safe 1:1 intra-operative patient care model.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience within the last 3 years in the surgical specialty. Must have clear, documented experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney/pancreas transplant lines, and robotic surgeries. First-time travel nurses are accepted if they meet the strict clinical background metrics!
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin State Nursing License or Compact Nursing License must be verified and provided upfront.
- Certifications Required: Active AHA BLS is strictly required (American Heart Association ONLY).
