Description

Registered Nurse First Assistant

You’d be expected to handle a mix of orthopedic and robotic surgeries (like total knee/hip replacements, ORIFs, robotic gallbladder and hernia cases), plus cataracts, GI endoscopy, and podiatry cases. Scrubbing is required for RNs, and experience in orthopedics and robotics is specifically emphasized.

Key requirements include:

Certifications: BLS and ACLS
Charting: Cerner
Call response time: 30 minutes
Floating: Occasionally to IR, ED, or inpatient floors for support

Scheduling notes:

Weeknight call: 2 nights/week
Weekend call: 1 out of every 4 weekends
Holidays: 1 summer + 1 winter
