Join a fast-paced Emergency Department caring for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. We're seeking an experienced Travel ED RN who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document accurately in Epic.
• Administer medications safely while following evidence-based practice.
• Perform clinical procedures including IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, wound care, and telemonitoring.
• Care for critically ill patients requiring ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, vasopressors, sedation, and blood product administration.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care.
• Promote patient safety and serve as a patient advocate.

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Previous travel experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred

• Arterial lines and central lines
• Chest tubes
• Procedural sedation
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Psychiatric emergencies
• Burns, overdoses, seizures, asthma, CVA, respiratory emergencies, and other high-acuity ED cases

• 32 treatment rooms
• 36 beds
• Approximately 120 patient visits daily
• 4:1 patient ratio
• Interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, Transportation, Interpretation Services, and Unit Secretary
