Labor & Delivery RN – (Carthage, TN)

Position Overview

Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN
Location: Carthage, TN
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Travel Requirement: Must live 60+ miles from the facility

Unit Overview

Departments Covered:
- Labor & Delivery
- Nursery
- Postpartum
Beds:
- 2 Labor beds
- 3 Postpartum beds
Patient Ratio: 1:2
EMR: Meditech

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
Must be able to work in all three areas:
- Labor & Delivery
- Nursery
- Postpartum
Experience with fetal monitoring

Required Certifications

✅ ACLS
✅ AWHONN
✅ BLS
✅ NRP
✅ Active Tennessee RN License (or eligibility as required)

Preferred Qualifications

PALS
Centricity experience
Meditech experience
Couplet care experience

Schedule & Call

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (rotating/as needed)
Call Requirement: 3 twelve-hour call shifts per 4-week schedule
Floating: As needed

Laboring mothers
Postpartum mothers
Newborns

Scrubs: Any color
