Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | 12-Hour Shifts
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks with possible extension

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Savannah, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong circulating experience across multiple surgical specialties, a positive attitude, and previous travel nursing experience. This role requires participation in the on-call rotation and offers the opportunity to work in a busy Level III Trauma acute care hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Circulate surgical procedures in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular specialties.
• Assist with robotic procedures as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient patient care.
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient safety before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the MEDITECH electronic medical record system.
• Participate in the required on-call schedule, including weekday, weekend, and holiday rotations.
• Float between the facility's main operating rooms as needed.

Preferred

• Experience with MEDITECH charting.
• Scrub experience (preferred but not required).

Skills: 

• Experience circulating General, Neuro, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Robotic procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications Required

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
• At least one previous travel nursing assignment.
• AHA - BLS Certififcate
• COVID Card
