Location: Savannah, GA 31419
Shift Timing: Day Shift (3x12s with Required Call)
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | 12-Hour Shifts
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks with possible extension

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Savannah, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong circulating experience across multiple surgical specialties, a positive attitude, and previous travel nursing experience. This role requires participation in the on-call rotation and offers the opportunity to work in a busy Level III Trauma acute care hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients.
- Circulate surgical procedures in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular specialties.
- Assist with robotic procedures as required.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient patient care.
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient safety before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the MEDITECH electronic medical record system.
- Participate in the required on-call schedule, including weekday, weekend, and holiday rotations.
- Float between the facility's main operating rooms as needed.
Preferred
- Experience with MEDITECH charting.
- Scrub experience (preferred but not required).
Skills:
- Experience circulating General, Neuro, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Robotic procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Qualifications Required
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
- At least one previous travel nursing assignment.
- AHA - BLS Certififcate
- COVID Card
